When You Want Tacos...

Fitness Struggles

...but the PTSD is too real. 😂

But in all seriousness. My current "cut" is no joke! I have a brand new coach that I'm working with and it's going very well. I am soooo happy with my current program! It's still a strict cut with strict macros to follow (if you're wondering what macros are, it's basically a set amount of carbs, fats and proteins that I am allowed to eat each day) but it's nice because I'm never hungry or miserable. My macros are slightly higher fat than I'm used to so I get to eat more avocado and peanut butter (#winning). My body is happy, my mind is focused and I have more energy than I've had in a long time.

This is a different experience for me because it's my first time with an online coach. He came highly recommended and is well known in the industry for training champion female bodybuilders. I'm not trying to compete or anything, I just wanted to take my training in that direction. I needed a break from Crossfit and the more performance-based training I was doing. I wanted to really work on the aesthetics aspect of weight-lifting to shape my body the way I want it to be.

So anyway, I just finished my 1st month on the program and I've been super focused. Hence the lack of posts on here. That and with wedding season in full bloom, I barely have time to come up for air it feels like lol. But I wanted to check in and share my super ridiculous photo composite LOL. I could definitely use five tacos al pastor right about now, that's for sure. Soon... I hope. ;)
